When is the best time to catch the sunset at Natai Beach?
Natai Beach sits along the sunset side of the Andaman Coast. Typically, the sun sets between 6:30 and 6:40pm in this area, with slight variations depending on the time of the year.
Of course, weather conditions can also play a part. The monsoon season here usually runs from the end of April to October, where there will be stronger winds, rougher waters and frequent rainshowers that may affect visibility.

Located 800m above ground, the Samet Nangshe Viewpoint, is a great place to enjoy elevated panoramic views of the beautiful landscape, Andaman Coast and the rugged cliffs and islands beyond. It’s a 30-minute drive from the villas at Natai Beach, which makes it an easy day trip option.
The Thai Mueang Beach is another top spot and a significant turtle nesting site, which is about a 20-minute drive from the beach villas. Depending on the season, you might just catch the hatchlings making their first swim out to the Andaman Sea.
Another recommended spot is Mai Khao Beach in Phuket, around a 20-minute drive from Natai, on the way to the Phuket International Airport. It could work as a good pit stop if you have time to spare before your flight. Aside from being a good sunset viewing spot, you can also see the planes up close.
