Location

Villa Blue View sits high on a palm-planted hillside on Koh Samui’s northern shore and is under a kilometre from the quiet seaside town of Bang Por.

Samui International Airport is a 30 minutes’ drive south of the villa. The island’s main port town of Nathon, where you can find markets and plenty of local restaurants, is just 15 minutes to the north.

What’s nearby

Despite its location high in the hills, Villa Blue View is actually quite close to the beach and some of the best dining in Samui. Bang Por, which is just 800 metres away, features a gorgeous and calm beach perfect for year-round swimming, and the town is famous for its local seafront restaurants.

Fisherman’s Village, a 17th-century fishing village and rare historical gem that maintains Koh Samui’s original Thai-Chinese culture and is famous for its street markets, is less than 10 kilometres away.

Food & drink

Bang Por and Fisherman’s Village are great places for a stunning meal, but if you want to eat-in, there is a full kitchen and the option of hiring the in-house chef (additional fees apply) who can prepare gorgeous Thai, Western and BBQ meals for you.

The best bits

All five bedroom suites come with huge windows and private balconies so everyone gets the ocean view and their own space – no arguing over who sleeps where (especially from the kids who have their own room)! There is also a sunken garden in the lower level ensuring that even the corridors are naturally ventilated.

The best thing, however, is that the hardest decision you’ll have to make all day is choosing which lounge area to spend time in. There are so many places for a drink and a lie-down and you’ll never get tired of the view!
