The concept
Elevated home-style Spanish food
It’s rare for me to come across a Spanish restaurant in Asia, but El Kabron has stuck to its roots. With a whole bevvy of tapas to choose from, plus an impressive drinks menu, they have managed to easily unlock the key to my fat heart.
The vibe
Chill, relaxed, Mediterranean
Okay, so you should know that El Kabron is quite tricky to get to. When you turn from the main road, expect to go through a very long winding road before you reach your destination (we recommend having Google Maps on for this!). But once you see it, trust me, the long drive will be worth it!
When you enter, you will pass the more formal part of the restaurant—this is usually where couples have dinner—before you reach the outdoor area, which has a relaxing white and blue colour scheme (a la Santorini) that is perfect to watch the sunset from.

For who
This place is perfect for couples. You can have a few tapas and cocktails while you watch the sunset and then move indoors for a nice dinner. This is also great for families and friends who want to have a relaxing and rather chill time too.
The best thing to order
Go for tapas and drinks while watching the sunset! If you’re planning a dinner, then you can get one of their speciality paellas, and for dessert, finish off with the tiramisu!

The best time to go
The amazing view is one of the biggest selling points of this resto, so I say go around or before 5 pm to catch it. (Take into consideration travel time too!)
Most Instagrammable Spot
I mean, what can compete with the sunset view, right? Sure, their blue and white outdoor style is worth IG-ing too, but just mother nature is good enough!
